What to do in Javea

One of the questions that we are always asked by clients who are looking to purchase a property in Javea is "What is there to do in Javea". The reason we are asked this is that having a Holiday in Javea, is a very different experience from living in Javea. 

For those people who are retiring to Javea, there are a wealth of clubs and organisations that you can join to meet other people with similar interests. As you would expect a lot of activities are outdoor living based, as the weather in the area permits this all year round, these are just some of the options

Bowls

There are two clubs in the local area, Javea Bowls Club and Benitachell Bowls Club. 

Tennis / Padel

There is a large tennis club located in Javea, Club de Tennis as well as a Padel Club  both are located in the Avenida del Pla, Javea. 

Leisure Centers / Indoor Pools

When it is raining, or you just fancy a swim in the winter then you have two options, Benissa Leisure Center (Fully equipped) or you can visit the Indoor Pool in Benitachell. If you want a fully equipped Gym then there are various options, Plaza Fitness Javea  or Club Fit 

Scuba Diving

If you want to hold a PADI licence or just fancy a little adventure then contact Mar Day Resort  or Diving Javea 

Stand Up Paddling

If you want to hire a board or learn how to SUP then visit Siesta Advisor, they also offer Kayak excursions and a whole lot more. 

Books

For the avid readers then rather than paying full price for books, recycle and visit Pollys Bookstore
