The town (Municipality) of Benissa is located in Alicante Province in the Communidad of Valencia, only a 45-minute drive from Alicante airport. Benissa has excellent road links with close access to the AP7 motorway and the national road, N332 which runs from Valencia to Almeria.

Beaches: Once you move away from the town of Benissa, you can find 4km of coastline of Benissa, known as the Benissa Coastal, which stretches from Moraira to Calpe. Here you can find many small coves, including La Fustera, La Cala de Advocat, Els Pinets, La Lobella, and Baladrar. These beaches and coves boast some of the clearest water on the Costa Blanca Coast, which is ideal for snorkeling, swimming, and all forms of water sports. 

In many of the coves during the Summer  "Chiringuitos" (temporary beach bars) are opened where you can sit and enjoy the setting sun with a meal and a drink, at La Fustera there is a permanent "Chiringuitos", Mandala, (https://uqr.to/ss0k) which serves tasty Paellas which you can enjoy overlooking the sea, whatever the time of the year. 

Sports and Leisure: In addition, the municipality of Benissa has a 9 hole golf course in San Jaime, Golf Ifach, a leisure center, with two indoor swimming pools, Spa Facilities, and a Gymnasium, as well as a craft brewery which you can visit to taste their various drinks, Brouwhoeve

The area of Les Basetes has its own small marina and a watersports center, where you can take part in sailing, SUP, and scuba diving, as well as restaurants from where you can watch the sun go down to the Peñon d’Ifach in Calpe.
