Teulada-Moraira is a municipality located in Alicante Province in the Communidad of Valencia, only a 45-minute drive from Alicante airport, Teulada-Moraira has excellent road links with close access to the AP7 motorway and the national road, N332 which runs from Valencia to Almeria.
Moraira´s historic roots were as a fishing village, which is still evident, the weekly fish market is very popular on the Costa Blanca, and it still has 5 operational fishing boats, which you can watch unloading their catch. Restaurants You are spoilt for choice in Moraira and Teulada. In Teulada, you have a wealth of mainly "Spanish" restaurants, including the "Cultural" and "Las Vegas". In Moraira, there are an even larger number of restaurants, cafes, and bars to suit every taste and budget. The "Llebeig," a 9-hole south-facing course surrounded by lovely pine trees and with sweeping views of the Montgó. The "Gregal," a flatter 9-hole course with difficult water hazards, or the "Mestral," a north-facing 9-hole course with spectacular sea vistas. There is also the 9-hole course in Javea, or only 1.5 hour drive and you can visit the Golf Courses in Villamartin, close to Torrevieja.
Shopping: Moraira is full of small boutiques, tourist shops, Restaurants, and Bars, though if you are looking for a little bit more then you can visit the Centro Commercial in Ondarra, which also houses a large Carrefour Supermarket, as well as a Sports and Activities shop, Decathlon

Medical : Moraira and Teulada each have their own Central Salud (Public), where there is an Emergency 24x7 clinic, the first port of call when you need to have minor injuries looked at, though for more serious injuries it is only a 15-minute drive to the Denia Public Hospital and their own Emergency care unit.
Supermarkets: There are a wealth of Supermarkets in the Moraira, including Consum, Mercadona, Aldi, Carrefour, Pepe La Sal. Lidl and Charter.
Area: The municipality has two parts, Moraira which is on the coast, and Teulada which is located 6kms inland. Moraira has remained unspoiled by the large-scale tourism which has affected other towns, and it retains all of its charms, as does Teulada.

Moraira also has a Marina, with its own Club Nautico, from where you can sit and watch the sunset over the sea, with views to the Penon Ifach in Calpe.
