Javea is split into three distinct areas, the Port/Old Town, the Arenal Beach, and then the urbanisations of Javea, stretching from Cap de Nao on the coast to the Montgo. Each of these areas brings with it a different living experience.
The Old Town of Javea and the Port are the original parts of Javea, and the old town still maintains its original charm and the narrow side streets take you back in time when there were no cars, with transport being on either horse or donkey.
