6. Transport Links

Moraira-Teulada is located close to the National N332 road and also the AP7, which you join at Benissa, only a 10-minute drive from Moraira. The Airports of Alicante (50 minutes) and Valencia (60 minutes) are also close, most people who visit usually pick up a Hire Car at the airports, or alternatively there are shuttle bus services that can drop you directly into Moraira, from where you can hire a car as well, or if you are feeling adventurous a Scooter or Harley Davidson.

7. Cost of Living

Spain in general has a lower cost of living than many of its Northern European Neighbours. You can still find a Menu Del Dia for less than €15 per person. When you visit Supermarkets you can still find products from your own home countries but it is so much cheaper to buy local products, indeed, residents tend to buy their vegetables from the Friday Market in Moraira, which cost less and last longer, as well as from the local Butcher, Panaderia (Bakers), etc. The property tax in Spain that you pay annually is substantially lower than in other countries as are so many other commodities.

Overall Moraira is a wonderful place to relax completely into a Spanish lifestyle, whether it is for 2 weeks, 2 months, or permanently.
